No additional tax charges are levied on sales within the internal EU market. However, for shipments outside the EU, almost every item is subject to such charges. Customs duty should always be considered, which, depending on the country, ranges on average between 2% and 5% of the item's value.
Local fees often constitute an additional cost, for example, federal tax when shipping to the United States.
To avoid problems resulting from placing orders outside the EU, we recommend contacting your local customs agency, which is obliged to provide all necessary information.

After-sales service
If your watch is still under warranty, simply send us a warranty claim, which will allow us to determine whether the defect is eligible for free repair. Warranty diagnosis is performed within 5 business days from the moment we receive the claim. Depending on the defect, there is a chance that we will need to inspect your watch before making a final decision. The time for potential repair depends on the type of defect. If you purchased a brand-new watch and it is still under warranty, it will be sent back to the manufacturer for repair.

- Any damage caused by external factors such as impact, fall, exposure to shocks, extreme temperatures, or strong magnetic fields

- Damage resulting from improper use of the watch when in contact with water. Repairs carried out by third parties, opening the watch, and disassembling parts other than the watch strap will void the warranty.
The Caferare warranty does not cover vintage watches. Due to the nature of antique parts, they are not always available and cannot always be repaired.
If the used watch you have purchased is still covered by the manufacturer's warranty, it will be sent to the manufacturer for repair in the event of a malfunction. The manufacturer's service warranty then supersedes all expressed terms and duration of our warranty. If the manufacturer's warranty expires before two years from the date of purchase in our store, Rarist assumes responsibility as the warranty provider for the remaining period.
The time taken to perform a service depends on several factors. These include the scope of work and the availability of spare parts. We can usually estimate it when accepting the order, after an initial verification that allows us to determine the service specifications.
To have your watch serviced, simply send us an inquiry, which will allow us to determine the scope of work and estimate a preliminary price. Once accepted, you can send or personally deliver the timepiece to one of our showrooms. The estimated repair time and final price will be provided after verification by one of our service center employees. This depends on the type of fault and the availability of spare parts. Repairs will be carried out by qualified watchmakers with many years of experience, using top-quality equipment.
After the fault has been rectified, the watch undergoes a detailed inspection of the performed service.
Upon payment confirmation, the watch will be available for personal collection at your chosen showroom.
